Community Guidelines

    Purpose

    The purpose of these Community Guidelines is to create a respectful, transparent, and trustworthy environment for users who buy, sell, and trade surfboards and surf equipment on the platform.

    These guidelines define acceptable behavior, set clear expectations, and help maintain a positive experience across all listings and user interactions.

    A. Respect and Communication

    • Users must communicate respectfully and politely in all messages, comments, and interactions.
    • Harassment, hate speech, abusive behavior, or discriminatory language of any kind is strictly prohibited.
    • Feedback and criticism must be constructive and relevant.
    • Personal attacks, insults, or hostile behavior toward other users are not allowed.

    B. Authenticity

    • All listings must accurately represent the actual item being sold or traded.
    • Users must upload original photos of the item.
    • Stock images, copied images, or misleading visuals are not permitted.
    • The condition of the item must be clearly disclosed, including whether it is new, used, damaged, or modified.

    C. Safety and Trust

    • Users should not share personal or sensitive information unless necessary to complete a transaction.
    • This includes phone numbers, home addresses, and payment details.
    • Users are encouraged to use the platform’s built-in communication and trade tools whenever possible.
    • Any suspicious behavior, scams, or fake listings should be reported immediately.

    D. Fair Trading

    • Prices must be set honestly and fairly.
    • Price manipulation or misleading pricing practices are not allowed.
    • Once a trade or sale is confirmed, users are expected to honor the agreement.
    • Spamming or repeatedly reposting identical listings is prohibited.

    E. Content Standards

    • Listings must not include adult, violent, or illegal content.
    • Only surf-related products and relevant equipment are allowed.
    • Listing descriptions should be clear, accurate, and relevant to the item.
    • All listing photos must meet the platform’s photo and quality standards.

    F. Enforcement

    • The platform reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
    • Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account suspension.
